My Ride: Jaguar XF Sportbrake 3.0 diesel
Default New member from Berkshire, UK

Hello all,

I am considering the 5-series for my next car and joining the forum to do some reading and ask some questions.

I am due to change in September or October 2016, so need to decide and place any orders in a few months time.

Mr Clarkson always wants to know "your car history", so here we go:

  • from 2004-06 - Ford Focus Zetec hatchback 1.6 petrol manual
  • from 2006-08 - Ford Mondeo Zetec hatchback 2.0 diesel manual
  • from 2008-10 - Ford Mondeo Titanium X hatchback 2.5 petrol manual
  • from 2010-12 - Jaguar XF Premium Luxury saloon 3.0 diesel auto
  • from 2012-13 - Jaguar XF Premium Luxury saloon 3.0 diesel auto
  • from 2013-present - Jaguar XF Premium Luxury estate 3.0 diesel auto

Interested to hear any experiences from other owners who have changed from Jaguar XF to BMW 5-series.

Welcome to the forum, Mr. Clarkson!

I'm moving your post to the general discussion area where I think you might get more traction on your question.

Smart man who does his research first!

Wondering if anyone here has moved from the Jaguar brand in recent years?

Welcome to the forum! Glad to have you here. Hopefully other forum members can input some experience from the Jaguar to BMW change, I'm sure there are a few.

That's right. Have you changed from Jaguar to BMW?
