dont be surprised if its a late 2010 release, with the car market the way it is im sure bmw isnt looking forward to dishing out the cash it costs to introduce a new model to the public
Actually, the bulk of the cost to develop the new F10 has already been spent, so they may be more likely to get it to market as soon as possible to recoup their investment.
Has there been any recent new BMW launched here in the U.S. (since the E60) that has not been a March launch? The new F01 7 series, the X6 last year, 1 series, 3 series, M3 ... haven't they all been in the Spring and not Fall?

There were some great questions asked, including Daves.

My Ride: F11 520d white, auto, professional sat-nav with internet, variable damper control, sports steering wheel, extended lighting, retractable tow bar, wing mirrors with dimming & folding, full electric seats with memory & lumber adjustment, etc.
I had Audi Q5 Sline with the double clutch auto gear box and the difference in gear changes is immence. When changing particularly under hard acceleration you cannot feel the car change gear full stop the whole thing is seemless.

If you noticed, the DCT is not available in the X5M or X6M. I suspect it can't handle that much torque. Even the standard TTV8 has much more torque than the E92 M3 so I bet it won't be offered with the V8.
