Hi all, i'm sure this topic has been covered before but just been to lazy to search.

I have just brought a 530d SE Tourer and have been trying to upload music from a USB drive to the built in hard drive but no option appears to show on the idrive after I have inserted the USB stick. Also tried an old CD which I thought would have an option to upload to hard drive but again no option to save to car.

Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

Cheers

Did you use the USB port in the glove compartment?

You also need to have the navigation option. If you don't then you don't have a harddrive.

I used the USB in the glovebox and do have the business nav on the car so guessing that comes with a hard drive?

The CD doesn't even give me an option to save to car so kinda wondering if I actually do have a hard drive.
