My Ride: 2004 545i TITANIUM GREY II on Black Dakota Lthr, Comfort Seats, Sports PKG, Premium PKG, Active/Dynamic Drive, NAV, Winter Package.
If we had an AUTOBAHN in North America I would say go Dinan but we don't! The car already has so much power you don't need anymore unless you are racing the machine on track. My recommendation is get the front bumper and side skirts which gives the car an unbelievable look and if you can get some nice 20" Breyton wheels like the ones posted in the attached image which looks amazing in my IMHO.
My two cents!

With all these great pics of modded F10's lately, I've got a little "mod fever" this summer. I don't want to spend too much as I've got a lot of money tied up in my business and upcoming traveling, so around $2K-2.5K will be max.
My choices are:
1. M-Sport front bumper (I've recently got a quote of around $2K-2.5K for all the parts, painting, & install)
2. New wheels
3. Dinan chip (+95hp, +100 lb/ft !
)
Any suggestions?

My Ride: f10 520da - 328 wheels, ambient lighting, sport s-wheel, oyster/black, fineline anthracite, Sophisto Gray
I'd say the car is plenty quick enough and I still maintain the SE suits the car better.
Go buy yourself a smokey old 325, strip it out and have a hoot on a track day all for $2k

I don't know about you guys but it sounds to me that this Dinan flash is not worth it! If you cannot tell if you have the extra torque and horsepower when driving the vehicle, why spend the money and stress the beast? There are few guys on the other forum that THINK they have the upgrade which means they cannot tell the difference !!!!

pete, do you have the efficient dynamics options? If so, might want to read this:

My Ride: I have a 2007 Black Sapphire BMW 530i with SMG. It has the auburn interior, has PDC, Sports Package, Premium Package, rear automatic sunshades with manual side sunshades, 35% black tint, Upgraded angeleyes from Angelibrights, and Logic 7 Sound System
Model Year: 2007
No offense, but I though EVERYBODY would agree on the TUNE!!! Where/How else can you get close to 100HP more for around $2K? Dinan is a reputable dealer and if they offer a 4 year warranty, why not just call DINAN and explain you situation. I am sure they would be more than willing to help. If it is a lease, I would just reflash it to stock before I turned it in, but thats just me. I do not see it as being dishonest. You should also go to a DIFFERENT dealership and act like you want to lease a 550i and ask them about the tune and the effects on warranty. Good luck!

I've always thought about this question and never found an answer, if Dinan can flash the 550 or other with software to increase horsepower and torque, why BMW doesn't do that while building these cars?
Just curious!

If you got a lady what's the point on investing on her you already got her!!!I'd say invest in the car if you want another lady

1 will be the last because I like to be stealth

wheels must go on 1st on any car.
if you have 1 1st it will look very odd if you have stock wheels.
if you install 3 then you stock wheels will run out very fast and can not handle the power, unless you love drifting a lot.
