Looking for F10 Sport Suspension Option Update
Hi All,
I am a 2006 E60 owner (and a member of the old E60 forum) looking to update to a 2014 F10 335d.
Trying to understand the difference between the M sport suspension and the adaptive suspension options.
I have reviewed previous postings here on this subject prior to this post.
Does anyone have access to quantitative info which describes the following:
- Spring rates (F/R) stock vs M Sport vs Adaptive suspension. Does the M Sport and adaptive sport suspensions use the same springs?
- Difference in riding heights between the different suspensions i.e. 10mm lower for sport or ??
- Roll bar differences (F/R) stock vs M Sport (yes, I know there is a disconnect with adaptive roll bar).
- Shock stiffness, and is the adaptive shock electronic setting continuously variable, or are there just soft and firm?
Since most of the posts on this subject were in the 2010 timeframe, I would hope there has been more knowledge/experience acquired.
And besides from probably scaring y'all by asking for a bunch of technical stuff above, which suspension do you folks prefer and why?
THANKS in advance!
Best regards,
Gordie
