Lap Times: F10 Vs. E60

My Ride: 523iA, 2006, Silver Grey, Black Leatherette Interior, Fine-Wood Trim Poplar Grain Brown High-Gloss, 6 Speed Automatic Transmission with Steptronic, Automatic Air Conditioning with Extended Content, Interior and Exterior Mirrors with Automatic Anti-Dazzle Function (Incl. I am just writing this last post to avoid misleading the forum members with your wrong information.
You would need to recheck your data first. This is rather tiring your basis of the cars whether manual or automatic appears off. Please provide all acceleration and elasticity of all cars compared.

Both cars in Sport Auto were automatic as it is clearly written in the tests of Sport Auto. I obtained the acceleration data from Sport Auto site not from fastest laps site. You can find them in post #48.
Fastestlaps.com says the F10 535i is faster than the E60 535d.
So basically it is a further proof of my point that a slower accelerating car (the E60 535d) that is able to achieve the same lap time as a faster accelerating car (the F10 535i) while both are equipped with the same suspension packages and gearboxes means that the slower accelerating car (the E60 535d) is better handling in corners than the faster accelerating car (F10 535i).

These are two different E60 530i you are comparing. The fast one was built in 2007-2009 with 272 hp 320 Nm N53B30 engine and the slow one was built in 2005-2007 with 258 300Nm N52B30 engine.
