It has everything to do with reliability, comfort, and return on investment. Fleet owners will always choose their cars for very different reasons than those that lead us to buy BMWs.
In Finland we have a company called VEHO that is the importer of the Mercedes-Benz cars. They have have a fine
organization since the 60's to serve the taxi cars and still has. That's the reason for the M-B taxis over here.

All trucking and taxi trafficing needs a reall good service orgaization to keep the cars on the road, at all time.

With all do respect for truckers and taxi drivers - I dont't want to drive a taxi car.

The E M-B is a taxi over here, more than 90% of them are taxi's and so is a lot of the C's also

But as Pukka said. There will be more and more of the F10's as taxis, sucks.

It is quite a handsome car.
And probably the best fast family transporter for long distances.

We Europeans look to be the happy ones!

Any figures about world sales of BMW?
Americans would rather drive big gas sucking SUV's like the X5 that is made in America. They think driving a truck is cool. When gas prices go up BMW will get hit hard since all they have been doing is building bigger cars and trucks that use more gas.
