F10 Discussion Anything and everything to do with the F10 5 Series. The F10 made it's debut in 2010 as a MY2011.

I liked it better when each of the models had their own unique persona

By the time i can afford one i wont want it for multiple reasons.
-1. It will be old and dated.
-2. The looming repair bills and no warranty will put me in the city mission.

For those who can afford the e60 m5 anytime soon, congrats. Me on the other hand will be saying to BMW unless i hop in a e92 m3 in the near future.

So, again its like knowing your going to break up with someone. not a good feeling..

I agree with you Mel. That's why I had no problems getting back into an E60. (of course it's an M this time)

Had to dig up this thread:

I do agree wholeheartedly that each series having its own unique personality regarding styling was better than the Audi 'one mold, many sizes' philosophy BMW seems to have adopted and that the new e90 facelift, F01,F07 and F10/F11 are too similar in appearance.

Now I'm sure that I'm not alone on that one:

Yesterday I received this brochure from BMW offering a BMW creditcard, on the center pages the image below was printed...

I finally saw the F10 at the near dealer 2 days ago while looking for my gf car. Gotta say that comparing them side to side I still like the E60 way better. IThis guy has just bought a brand new F10, we were pulling out of the dealer at the same time, and he could not stop from braking neck to my car for even one second....

I dont wanna sound cocky, im just saying.....

Yeah, if the new 3-series looks like that, I'm in.

But actually the F01, F07 and F10 don't look so similar.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this way.

I sincerely tried to make myself like the new 5er. I test drove it three times by now.
But it just doesn't stir up any emotion other than being a new car with superb interior.

I still love the e60 design.
