I liked it better when each of the models had their own unique persona

My Ride: BMW E60 530i
You know what... I was just browsing through the 5GT thread... and I hate to say this but I like the 5GT front headlights better than the F10!

Yea i think that i am gonna have to agree with the masses, I am definitly not feeling the body of the F10 5 Series. And yes it does look like a baby 7 Series, but actually they all look like the 3 series. So i think once i make my next purchase in a year or two itll probably be a 08 750LI, again im not to sure about the new F1 7 Series either, as i have yet to see one in person since im in Afgahnistan. But believe me once i get back thats where im going first.

There's an easy recipe to success.
Audi used uninnovative design in each of their models as a forerunner. Combined with premium prices -> increasing number of sales.

How quickly people forget but about the BMW's past design looks. Bring up pictures of the E30, E34 and E32. If you can honestly say that these the models were not just larger/smaller versions of each other then maybe I am nuts. Ok maybe the E30 is a bit of a stretch but from the front you would be hard pressed to distinguish the E34 from the E32.

Yeh, I agree with you but in early 2000, that actually all changed -
E90 3 Series (1G & 2G)
E65 7 Series (1G & 2G);
E63 6 Series (1G & 2G);
E60 5 Series (1G, 2G & 3G);
if you search up all those models, they all look different! And I think most of the members here are saying that they preferred this over the new BMW design cues for all the above models.
