no space for a spare? So what is under the trunk floor?

Under the trunk floor cover is some wiring and the car's battery. No place for a spare. I looked.

Congrats on the new beast! And yes, this is one car that looks amazingly better in real life compared to pics. That everyone agrees on.

Really, no spare? So if you get a flat, you have to have it towed or have a tired brought out (if you have ditched the RFTs)?????

Not necessarily, I would recommend the BMW Mobility Kit consisting of a bottle of repair fluid and a 12V air compressor, all packed in a canvas bag that can be stowed in the trunk.

The reason for RFT's as standard is that they apparently saves a number of lives each year from accidents caused by flat tires on the autobahn (with no speed limits).

That's all well and good but given that wee here in the US do not have speed unlimited highways, BMW should give us the option of conventional tires.
