According to Simon from www.e-maps.co.uk BMW have locked down the new F10 range of BMW's so he is not able to provide a remap.

Presumably other remap companies are experiencing the same difficulty unless anyone knows differently.

II'd like to test the KCR-box, just to get a sense of the difference.
It adds 26hp and an extra 60Nm in torque (close to max torque for the auto gearbox on the 520d)

(KCR don't do re-maps - i.e. increase the turbo charge pressure - as it will cause the turbo charger to wear down a lot more quickly.)

A remap in the UK costs £400 compared to an extra £5000 for a 525D or £9000 for a 530D - that's way you remap !

Yes I understand this, but I don't need any more power.

I also want to sell the car with good value and not compromize the warranty nor the cars engine.
If the turbo or even the whole engine collapses the bill is huge.
