F10 (2011) stopped reading music from USB and phone!
Hello all,
I have a Jan 2011 F10 520d.
For the last 6 years been using USB sticks to listen to music from the usb port in the arm rest, it all worked great.
A few months ago it just stopped. Now that option is grayed out, so is the mobile music option.
The bluthooth phone function to make calls still works though. (but cannot play music from the phone as that option is again grayed out )
Tried looking for the fuses, but doesn't seem to be it, or I tried a few I can't find any blown fuse.
Any other ideas? Help? AUX & internal drive still works
( Have tried multiple USB sticks and phones, This is not an android / Apple issue as some have seen in their cars with bluethoth issues)

So far tried,
-Resetting the iDrive bay holding the volume knob, and turning the car off. (well its been months so had plenty of time to reset by itself too)
-Removing the Bluetooth pairing and reconnecting, different phones
-Unplugging USB and checking a number of fuses
