But it's only a series of stickers that can easily be removed when gently and carefully warmed-up (hot air blower).

So, here she is...
The car is great and the gearbox is a dream!
From inside, the 535D is realy silent and from outside its noise gave me the impression to have a 8 Cyl diesel engine.
As recommended by BMW for the 1st 2000 Km, I didn't push the engine beyond 3500 RPM and 150 Km/h but no need to go above 3500 RPM to feel its power.
With its 630NM of torque it pulls like a jet
Inside, the finition quality is very nice and higher than in my previous E60.
First impression about some options:
- HUD: clear, the symbology can be adjusted up and down but a left and right adjustment could have been interesting. The HUD field of view is quite large because it can display a lot of other infos than the actual speed (Cold T°, Nav arrows and distances, Active cruise ctrl, night vision warnings, doors open,...). So, when only the speed appeared, I had the sensation that the display was too much to the left but I'm getting used to it and it's OK.
- Audio pro: great !
- Park assist: OK but it requires some time to park the car. This is not abnormal but in heavy traffic in big cities where everyone fights for a gap, I'm not sure I would use it. Mind also that to have the car close to the border, you need to "detect" the parking spot while driving close to parked cars. I mean, if you accept a detected spot while driving 1.5 M from parked cars, your lady could rest with 2 wheels still on the road at the end of the manoeuvre. So it requires some adaptation but time will do it...
- Surround view: great tool but as usual "objects on the picture are closer than they appear".
- Stop & Go: Nice device to spare some fuel but it becomes rapidly enoying in traffic jam, especially with a diesel car, which "vibrates" more than a petrol car upon engine start-up and shutdown. But the system can be turned off manually (switch under the starter button).
- Bluetooth: Nice, volume can be adjusted under volume Ctrl menu (you need to establish a communication to do it).
- Keyless start: well, I have to admit than I was a bit lost during my first "entries and exits" in & out the car. I was searching where to put my key before engine start and got, by reflex, my hand towards the steering columm after shutdown but now it's OK.
For the rest, everything is great and outstanding. This is a very nice car. I DO NOT regret this purchase.
This was my first 48 hours of property's impressions... and some pics.
