Dislike of the F10

I'm willing to bet at LEAST half of you guys who dislike the F10 now will eventually get one down the road. It may be in a few weeks, a few months or even in a couple years but it WILL happen. That's how it was when the E60 came out and I expect things won't be any different. Time has a funny way of changing hearts and minds.
I remember that first year I got my 545i and joined Roadfly, the flaming and attacks going on in there was so intense, it makes all this look like a picnic in comparison. I heard the same doom-and-gloom talk...."I'll never get the E60 as long as I live....the E60 sucks.....the E60 will ruin BMW.....Bangle's an idiot.....no one will buy the car......yada....yada....yada." Well look where we're at now.
When I look back at those haters and critics and now see them as E60 fanatics, I just laugh at the irony of it all

And, indeed, time can turn so many things upside down. And this is a classic example. But I'm sure that the F10 is much better than the E60 and will soon prove to be the bestseller in its segment.

make it easier, the car that came out last shows what you claimed is erroneous.Could have been a different magazine I read somewhere. I just searched insideline so you win (or did u? we all "lost" because that's our car that got beaten!).. In their tests we're testing an 04 based design and technology vs an 09 and 10 based design and technology. It should be a no-brainer that the older one should not win against the newer ones.
Anyways I may someday end up with an F10 when my E60 gets a little old (to me). We'll see

If you have love the F10, go about your merry ways.
Respect and don't waste your time responding
with a blaze.
Start your own "Oh How I love the F10" topic.
If you hate the F10, respect and let not
Your fingers nitpick.
We like to turn facts into fiction
And make fictions into facts when
In reality, it's only our intuition
That we make it our mission.
Boys and girls, share if your thought relates.
Else keep your personal shits from our
dearly E60 mates.
So if you're troll here or flame,
So be it you're full of shame.
(NOTE: I would write the same poem in an "I love the F10" thread. Just replace E60 with F10 and vice versa.)

I find the new design completely bereft of inspiration, visually. I can see myself going elsewhere next year when my lease is up. The Merc E550 is just so sweet looking compared to the F10...love that front end!

I had considered it earlier, but it looks like it'll be the next daily drive. It's currently covered up at my father's house for months now. As I said before, I'm still on the fence with the F10 design.
