Intresting that dealers can reserve production slots for certain models. Did not know that.

And other way around it seems that if dealer did not reserve production slot, then the order goes to the end of the queue in factory order database.

Not quite, from what I've been told a dealer can place orders for showroom or dealer cars but BMW will always prioritize production slots for customer ordered cars.

That's even better customer point of view if customer gets higher priority than dealer.

Congrats!!

I just went on to the German configurator to see what it would look like -- very nice...
(The pic shows beige leather, because it did not have a beige cloth option in the German configurator)

Thanks for the images guys.

Too bad the configurator can't show the inside with the black floor mats,
I'm sure the int will look even better with those.

I'm now also thinking about 20" wheels Style 312 Silver or Ferricgey.

Check out http://www.bmw.de/de/de/owners/accessories/portal.html
and then click zubehör finden and put in the Model: 5er Limousine ab 3/10,
Kategorien: Leichtmetalrädern and then the size.
Click LOS.

Those wheels are ugly Ric, there are much nicer wheels available from BMW for the F10.
