I think the office function only works on a BB with OS6. All I know is that it works fine between my BB Torch and my car.

I'll give it a go, cheers.

If it works I can see my work BB failing out my pocket into the toilet!

The Office features work great on the old SE phones as well. My wife's old W980 connected showing so many options it was unreal, complete with SMS and Email read-out, calendar, contacts etc. My HTC HD2 only showed contacts which is a bit daft! as I already had that and it was called Address Book.

If you go to the BMWUSA web site, you can see what phones are compatible with specific features of the car:

http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Conte...hframedin.aspx

Although it works (and is not on the "supported" list), I now realize that BB OS6 is not a requirement for the Office features of the car...

That list is a good starting point but its not entirely accurate. My HTC HD2 shows that with the Bluetooth Audio I'm not supposed to be able to do a forward and back etc. But I can. It works better using the HTC Media Player rather than WMP. But I like the way you can choose the features you most want and then see which phones support it.

I see the UK version of this page is better in that it allows you to filter on model of phone.

http://www.bmw.com/com/en/owners/nav...=EU&country=UK

Yet to find a phone that supports emails on that list.

Agreed, as I said I changed my bb8900 after a dropping in a sink moment for another 8900 and the functionality changed for the better. I get audio but thats it. Going to try a torch tomorrow
