I bought the car in Korea and just arrived here in Maryland. I bought the navigation system w/US maps but was told by the Korea BMW center to contact a US BMW service center to obtain the navigation system activation code when I am in the US. I am in contact with a US BMW service center but I haven't been able to obtain the activation code and they haven't been able to activate the system.

Do I need to contact the manufacturer to get the original activation code? How may I contact them and will they be able to provide me the activation code?
