Very unattractive and bland. I am a big BMW fan, this is my second 5 series and I have had 3 other BMW's, but i can't pretend to like this car. Its disappointing looking, and I feel its a step back. It looks like a big dumpy 3 series. Other then the rear tail lights i can't find another thing i really like. Curious to see what the m5 looks like, but, im pleased with my e60, I think its far superior in terms of both the lines and its sex appeal.

That looks good to me and I'm still convinced a lowered / m-sport version with some nice rims is going to look great... I just wish someone would hurry up and produce & photograph one!

Really? Could you please explain that - not sure I understand why...

I've seen this comment before so I'll answer: It's the law, including here in the US and virtually everywhere else. Until a car is officially for sale to the public, and/or fully passed all of its federal/country's regulatory tests, it can't display its badges while in operation on public roads -- outside or in. I did google this looking for something to support my post but couldn't find anything. I know I read about it years ago, so maybe it was in a magazine. It has something to do with insuring the test cars as well...
Anyone else with a more clear answer?

Nice to see one in traffic as it gives a better feel who the car actually looks like.
