Yes, I guess it will be the Hi End audio solution also for the F10.

Danish Bang & Olufson is a very high profile company within the entertaiment
hardware industy.

B&O are mostly known for producing fairly good sound from crappy components...
Audi is using B&O in their Hi End system too. My friend has a A5 coupe with B&O and I can say that I'm not impressed. I think that HiFi Professional in my F10 sound a lot better.

A while back, I demo'ed an Audi S4 with the B & O system and I wasn't too impressed, especially given the high price.

The best stock audio systems I've had in the past were the Lexus Mark Levinson, Panasonic ELS ('09 Acura TL), and the Logic 7 system from my 545i.

The premium audio in my F10 550i is good but not great.....clarity, soundstage and power is decent but not among the best.

I like to see some serious hi-end audio companies like Meridian, Krell, Rotel, Lexicon, or even Mark Levinson hook up with BMW.

Like I said in the other thread about this, I'd MUCH rather they went with B&W - as Jaguar did. And from what I've read, reviews on Bowers and Wilkins' Jaguar systems are quite awesome. You compromise a little on the styling with B&W, but the sound is amazing

Bowers&Wilkins speakers would be nice
Hook it up to a Mark Levinson amp and let DiRAC handle room acoustics and we may have a winner.

Well the B&O system in the A4 and A5 can't be compared with the DIRAC system I have in the new E61 LCI. However the A8 B&O system is simply amazing - not sure if it's wort the 10k USD premium compared to the DIRAC High End in the E61 LCI though.

For me, B&O is more design than sound. And it comes with a high price too.

Exactly!

But then again, some people can argue that BMW - with the F10 - is becoming also more about design than performance...
