My Ride: 2008 535i: June 6th start build, complete June 17th, at NY Port July 5th, at dealer July 10th, took delivery Friday July 13- Plantimum Bronze/Natural Brown Leather/Light Poplar, Sport Package, Sport Auto, Active Steering, Premium Package, CWP & PDC. Dinan Performance Software 384hp & 421 ft/lbs.
I got an E60 pretty early, and was one of the first with the SMG. I liked the E60. I will be so disappointed if the F10 is fugly.

Honestly, one could buy a 2010 E60 and still have it feel and look as new as the F10 for years to come. I would say atleast halfway through the F10's life cycle the way the LCI E39s still look very new and modern, yet somewhat conservative. That's why I loved it so much.

Well, if that's what it's gonna look like, they must have replaced Chris Bangle with a designer from Volvo.
Even in the spy shots, the lines look very Volvoish to me... And, aside from the 1994 850,I haven't seen a sexy Volvo since the XC90 came out.
I do hope the bring the Li version of the 5 to the US, as they have in certain Asian countries, and to compete with the A6L.
The only problem is, they don't offer the Li with the V8 in the 5 series.
