The problem with the F10 is that it is way too conservative. BMW took no chances with this design and it looks like a bigger version of the 3er.
I'll stick with the e60 body; it's gorgeous.

More updated pics.

Looks like the GT and the sedan won't be similar.

  I'm SOOOOO Happy I have an E60
I think those pics don't look half-bad. I see less and less of the GT in those pics. Front really resembles the new 7er.

Looking forward to see the F10 in the flesh!

It looks to be less flamboyant than the E60 and more classic along the lines of the E39.

Sooo funny that so many here are trashing the new design before even seeing it (especially in person, as the X6 looks great in person but terrible in pictures), while at the same time praising the E60 design. Do we not remember what we all thought when we saw the bangle butt E60 for the first time? Everyone hated it, and swore to keep their E39s or jump ship entirely, but after looking at so many profiles lately, it looks like half the folks around here didn't even have driver's licenses back then, lol! I'll just wait to see what the exterior look like after it's official debut. I think it's obvious the interior will probably be identical to the 5 GT, a la X5, and am not so happy about that. For me, I'll see if the exterior redeems.

I think it is safe to say the new 5 will have more chrome than e60 for sure. I'll bet the back looks like a christmas tree in comparison. Seems to be where car design is going.
Our cars are almost entirely void of chrome from the factory. Probably take another 10 years before cars are so clean again.
