For a split second, I was ready to retract my statements on this car looking horrible, but then I thought better of it. I'm gonna stop with the trash talking and just let it be unveiled. These pics do it a bit more justice though.

The shape looks nice I wish it's something similar to the CS concept...

the cars definitely gonna be sexier than the E60, and the kidney is not as large as its on the F01/02, so thats good....less Volvoish

I know that there's no accounting for taste, so do not misconstrue my following statement for an argument - I simply want to state an alternate point of view:

IMHO E60 IS THE SEXIEST CURRENT MODEL SEDAN*

(*except CLS55/63 AMG, Quattroporte)

I doubt this "e90+" will look better than the e60, but I sure hope it will...

BTW read in the October Road and Track today that the GT will only come as 550i GT to the States and that the F10 won't show up at the dealers until mid-2010.

Really starts to look like a swollen E90 ?

With that in mind it looks very plain compared to the E60, at least to my eyes.....

In my eyes it look more like a smaller and fitter F01.

I think I'll like the design when I see the car IRL, but I probably won't jump around and scream OMG!!! OMG!!!... just nod appreciantly and say "very nice" in a calm tone. But I think I will fall in love with the interior - a great leap forward compared to the E60-series.

Guess I will just have to wait and see for myself when they hit the showrooms, in the mean time I already bought my new car so a new BMW is probably not on the cards for at least the next 3yrs in any case.

That car looks like the current 7-series. Too big and bulky for my tastes....I like my current e60.

its got that soft e39 shape, so far IMO it looks like the e90, e39 and current 7 all rolled into one..
