Just about everyone who responded to this thread criticizing safety this and danger that is so shortsighted in your intellect and critical thinking. I wonder what your reading comprehension scores are on standardized test? If you are offended by my post, then I have your answer.
The point is to respond to the intent of the OP if you have an opinion. You guys sound so shallow, it reminds me of that stupid bartender posting the no tip receipt on facebook and had millions of kingerteners taking baseless sides.
Give me a break, folks. This board is filled with grandmas and grandpas. Could someone tell me why in the US, probably the highest speed limit is 75 mph on the majority of the fastest road, but the cars are governed at 155 mph? OP thanks for sharing your experience. I take it that you are a responsible person. If not, avoid the temptation.
I paid $60K years ago for the experience and pray everyday that I am not tempted or harm innocent people experiencing what I bought.

How about we move away from the speed debate as it's getting nowhere. Not saying it's right but I'm sure every one of us have pushed our cars into tripple digit speeds on public roads before. The OP didn't brag about hitting 150, he only mentioned it in describing how his car performed against the F10 550 so let's get back to that discussion or move on.

My car is factory standard and maintained by BMW.
The car approved by BMW to drive to 140 it just the UK government that stop me doing it legally.
Just one comment about safety, Are you sure all your aftermarket, stick on, Micky Mouse modifications are really safe?

So on my way home tonight me and a F10 550i decide to engage in some fun. All I have to say is WOW I don't see what the complaints are. The car was nimble and hella fast, I couldn't pass him and I could only creep up to his nose at around 135+ I'm officially sold on the F10 and can one day see myself owning one :flame suit on:
