I'm surprised no one has discussed the idiotic grin of a front bumper they threw on the F10. I understand that Koreans are up and coming in the auto industry, but I didn't realize it was already time for BMW to copy Hyudai Genesis
I actually like the grin. I hate the headlights. Overall the car has more curves and looks more modern and aggressive.
This morning when I stared at my car, it did feel a little dated.

Took Delivery 10/26/2009: LOADED! E60 M5 Silverstone II/Black, Active Seats, Comfort Ventilated/Heated Seats, HUD, Brushed Aluminum Trim,
I'm on my second E60, but I do not think I will be getting another 5 series if the looks don't impress me.
I would rather have the GT headlights on the F10. The F10 headlights looks like a watered down front of the GT. This one REALLY needs a face lift.
I don't think I will want to trade up if the looks remains the same.

There is unfortunately nothing extraordinary about this car. The appeal has certainly turned conservative and I'm no conservative.. I wish they would have been more daring with the design! Very much resembles the E39 rather than setting it apart.
The E-class even now looks more modern which is shameful!

i dont know, looking at it for the second day, im starting to think its quite a bit fugly
the historical pix show it all, this thing is in no way a modern e39, it looks bloated, too long and too sculpted with all the damn lines on the hood..... looks like the e90 from the side, the F01 from the front, and a mashup of the e90 and f01 from the rear...id really luv to know who the sample audience that bmw brought in to give it the thumbs up, it is certainly a step back in terms of design, and completely disconnected to the CS design theme, imho
Msport nor M5 add ons may not be able to help this beastly design

Keep the m5 man, I still love the e60 look over the f10. Not to mention there wont be another V10! I'm going to pick a m5 e60 up in the next year or two.
@ Gene, thats what my girl said too. She said," Don't worry you'll start to like it." I just need wow factor. Maybe after the facelift or ///M version.
