i am testing a 530xit with 17's and coming from a 330i with perf pkg. so i'm used to some fairly tactile responses. none of which i am feeling in this wagon. will sport springs and 19" wheels improve the feel and responsiveness?

You must be kidding comparing a 3 series coupe to a 5er wagon. Wheels and suspension aren't gonna help

I think it's more springs than wheels & tires, but I don't think you'd match a 3-series performance package either way.

Our 535xit hangs on great... but the amount of body roll is a bit surprising to me. I think springs might help that.

I think if you compare the 530 wagon to a Mercedes or Volvo wagon you'll see it is the BMW of wagons... but it is also longer & heavier than your 330 and neither springs nor tires will change that.

Though sport springs will IMPROVE your handling, it's unlikely it would make it handle as well as your old 330i pp!

i'm not expecting zhp behavior. only an improvement in driving dynamics. so does anyone have experience with H&R springs on these cars?
