I have memory seats/mirrors, and before I had my M5 mirrors installed, the passenger side mirror glass did NOT tilt, regardless of the position of the mirror switch.

With the new mirrors installed, the mirror tilts.

And this feature almost caused me to back into my garbage can on Monday! PDC saved the day...

try flipping the switch from left to right mirror or the other way around and see it that makes a difference. I know on my 6 if the mirror selector switch is on one side the dip works and if it's on the other it doesn't.
If the mirror switch is on the driver's side, then the passenger side will tilt when you put it in reverse.

Related to that, anyone know how to adjust the tilting angle once it is tilted? Mine's pointing to the ground.

I know how the feature works. I had it on my e90, which had folding mirrors.
The dealer didn't have the time to look into it, during the programming, so it still doesn't work. Oh well, got my winter set-up right now, so it's not that important. It will be once my 20's are back on.....

Hi, I also would like to have the auto folding option. When I took delivery they told me it wasn't possible to program that, but if you say it's possible (you're also Dutch!) and can confirm your dealer helped you, I'm going back to my dealer.......

/Eric

Hi Eric,

I'm pretty sure that they are able to program it. I had it on my e90, but you do have the 'mirror package'?
