Hello. I've been wrestling with the hatch on my 2009 535ix since I bought it. Fixed a lotta wiring further back and no luck.

When I was going through the car wash I noticed water was dripping through these things. Does anyone know if this could be the source of my electrical problem? And how do I remove them?

That's a new one for me. I've only seen a big assembly there that holds motion sensors and rear lights etc. The source of your leak issue is the water getting in. You need to clean your drains and check the sun roof gasket. Fix the source first.
