US e61 535ix Rare?
So people say that these wagons are rare. Does anyone know how many were sold in the US, ideally with breakdowns for 2008,2009,2010?

My Ride: 2010 Manual E61
I did a search awhile ago using various Vin search engines and determined that my 6MT is 1 of ~300 in North America across all years of the E61.

I've been searching everywhere, but can't seem to figure it out. They keep on lumping it together with the whole 5 series in everything I've found.

My Ride: e46 330 -> e92 335 -> ?
Specifically manual, i've been looking for months now (nationwide) and get 0-2 results. And (no offense to gold owners) the ones that do pop up are gold or some other non appealing color. Bleh.

The numbers I have heard were BMW limited 2,000 535xi E61 per year, 2008, 2009, 2010. People seem to believe there were about 100 manuals/year which made it over. I would say that sounds about right. I can't believe so many silly Americans optioned for the AT (the 6spd was standard).
So this would mean 6,000 in existence and 300 of those are manual.
There have been times where I see 2-3 on the road in one day. Hard to believe with the supposed total but then again: I have spent most of my time in CA (Orange County, SF Bay Area, Tahoe) where I think these practical and luxurious wagons thrive, and considering so many have ATs it makes sense as most I see are driven by house wives.
I am curious if someone has any verified statistics on import numbers.

...as was mine. She had a few kids though! I was pulling candy, mascara, and energy powders out from everywhere! To boot my car has the beige interior so no dirt is hidden.
