Hello,

I have a small problem with the tailgate, it won?t close or open.
When you press the button on the remote or inside the car the tailgate closes 1cm and opens 1 cm and stays in that position.
The TG is now 1cm open always and won?t close or open, the doors look and open normal.

The TG was used 5min before this problem with no problem and when tried to open again it opened 1cm and is stuck now.
The car was in a warm garage for 20 huors and the problem is still there.
I have tried to manually open the TG but it won`t open the way the manual says.

I think the lock is stuck in someway and hope to get some ideas what to do next.

Problem solved !

 

How?

 

By stripping the tailgate from inside the car and taking the lock out by force. After that finding a small plastic knob in the lock that jams the lock
100%. After removing the the knob the lock worked fine and its much easier to put the pcs back when the TG is open.

How the plastic knob got in the lock is a full mystery but its not from the car so it?s my typical luck !
