Just have my 535D E61 from 2006 for a month or so.
I have a strange sound i dont know what is.

Its 3 small beep and 1 beep a bit longer, beep beep beep beeeep(approximatily 2-3 sec all i all) its sound a bit like a count down, all 4 with the same tone hight.
The sound is newer heard more than once per trip, but its not on every trip its there.

It does not mater if i am using navigation or not.

Any ideas ?

 

have you noticed that it always happens when you have a round hour on the clock?

you can also switch it it off in the iDrive, I think in "Date & Time" in the "Settings" menu.

I will see if i can find it in the Menu, not knowing what it was make me frustrating
