its taken the m sport package to lure me back to BMW ,from day 1 just the way they look like they are indestructable always had me turning when i saw one on the road , got ours now & although only 520d it really moves & is surprisingly comfortable even on the runflats however i must have a tinker with all my cars & have purchased a set of carbon finish 18,s which i intend to fit winter tyres to & have already booked a remap to take it to 200+BHP & 400+ torque so
the 45mpg is just the icing on the cake !

They look somewhat like an evil twin to BMW's own styling 122's

is that good or bad ? they,re actually made by now defunct italian wheel maker mille miglia & are 20 offset which i think is correct, just need 265/35 or 40/18 tyres , the 245,s on at the mo are a bit stretched so will sell them on when i find some winters that are suitable
i did see a very similar set in BMW dealer for £3000 ish so the £250 i paid with tyres seemed a bargain (not that mrs w saw it the same way)

It's a good thing I'd say, though I was thinking of the 242's instead it seems:

At that price it does appear to be a bargain though, no offense to the missus of course...
