+2 I like the matte black trim around the doors and windows - especially on a dark colored e60 . On white cars my opinion is mixed ... on those the silver/chrome trim looks OK.

Shadowline is the best

I just bought a set from Trinity and had them put on. I must say it makes a huge difference

Selling my chrome trims by the way, check the classifieds

So ordering the "sport package" really comes down to whether you like chrome or black trim around the windows (comfort seats can be ordered separately).
Well, in addition to the things mentioned above, Sport Pack on 535i in USA also comes with sport tuned (lowered) suspension, active roll stabilization, one inch bigger wheels (of better design IMO, style 124) and runflat tires.
All that together with the shadowline trim, sport package is a must! It often amazes me how lots of people think only "how is this going to look" vs. "how is this thing going to drive". If you buying bimmer for looks, you are buying wrong car. Buy bimmer for its performance.

I don't like shadowline on silver or light colored cars. For dark grey and black, sure.

My question was about the 535XI, which has none of the suspension upgrades.

You should go for Shadowline.. It looks so much better than the chrome line..
