New to the forum so go easy please!

I bought and E61 recently then bought some M-sport leather seats on ebay. Changed the rears, passenger and then lastly the driver (wish I had done it in the reverse order as may not be posting now if I had!).

The replacement drivers seat didn't have a belt pre tensioner but the original cloth seat did. I installed it anyway but obviously I am now getting an error on the I-Drive as it can't find the belt pre-tensioner any more.

Is there a way to either re-code the I-Drive to not look for the belt pre-tensioner or by-pass the sensor (anyone know what resistance would do it?). Also, why do some seats have the pre-tensioner and others not?

Any advice appreciated!
