Hello All,
Getting myself Face-lift LED rear lights, wanted to ask if it's straight swap, or do i need something extra?
On old ones connector with the lamp itself, and new Face-lift has LED, so the connector has to be different?
Regards.

No problem.
The cables do power both the outer and inner (rear hatch) lights, in these the E61 cables are different from the e60 variant where one connector per side suffices. If you look at the pics of the E61 cables there is a very long second extension with separate connector which has to be guided through the rear hatch towards the inner light units. You can also refer to the DIY's where you can see how the four different rear light units in an E61 are connected to the cables.
You could buy them at e-bay:
http://cgi.ebay.de/BMW-E61-TOURING-LCI-LED-RUCKLEUCHTEN-ANSCHLUSS-ADAPTER-/200413679961?pt=Autoteile_Zubeh%C3%B6r&hash=item2ea9961159
However I would strongly recommend you contact boardmember Bruce Miranda directly to buy the cables since he designs and manufactures them and is extremely knowledgeable on the subject.
Good luck!

Graag gedaan!
I saw you already contacted Bruce in the DIY forum...
Good job, looking forward to the pictures when you've got everything installed.
Success with the conversion!
