I just got done rebuilding the Rear Harness wires since I found a couple broken or exposed wires. The problem is that these 2 Lights still don't turn ON. The Lamp is new and I don't get my 12V.

Is there another problem area on these Cars that will cause this issue. ? I don't see how the light switch will cause this problem. Any help, would be appreciated .

 

Aren't those the rear fogs and the Brake Force Display lights? Sorry if I'm mistaken. Put up a video camera behind the car and slam the brakes hard and see if they come on/flash. Alternatively, with ISTA (perhaps with INPA as well) you can tell the rear fogs to come on to test the bulbs. That's the only way I believe I can illuminate mine.

Edit: I have an LCI car so I don't know if it's the same or not for yours.

 

Hi, Thank you for your reply. My INPA is old. I tried connecting to the light modules and I had no luck. I never heard of hitting the break hard will make the break like flash. New to me. In the US might have different rules. I will try it any way and get back to you.

That is so cool. I bet that's not in the US. But I can see the Red Running lights ON on the Tail Gate. On my car they are off completely. I thought I had an open wire on the hinges. Not I have to find some schematics and see where it goes. I found one that pointed to the switch module.
