I am just glad that Pete didn't try that when we were driving 240km/h...

Same problem on my 02/05 525dat. Did the initialization process twice today and the roof closed fine but got stucked again once I tried the tilt function again.

It has to be someway to fix this without removing the entire sunroof or cutting away some plastic piece to disable the rear sunroof from tilting? Anyone sorted out their problem in a easy way?

regards Jon

this could be 2 things. you get your panoramic roof cassette damaged - there is fix on the Internet just google for panoramic roof stuck in tilt position. it require cutting some plastic bits of the cassette and only front part will work as for tilting, will not affect opening at whole. Or, I had exactly the same problem, could not close from tilt, but worked fine for open/close, I dismantle the switch, give a switch good clean with electrical cleaner and no luck! I ordered the new switch, it worked fine ever since. you need to reinitialize the roof after unplugging the switch.

And which switch are you talking about? The switch to operate the roof, or the switch that senses the rear roof being closed?
I have a rear part of the panorama roof stuck in the tilted open position......
Thanks in advance for your reply!
