Love the looks with no roof rails - unfortunately I use mine once in a while to carry bikes or windsurfing stuff.
You make me consider hitch bike carrier..
Sailboard would be tricky on a hitch rack!

If you do get a hitch, a custom build can make it very slick and also not reduce your ground clearance/departure angle. I had mine built to angle up a little as well for the best clearance.

What exactly do you mean by "oem" ? I ask because there are in-door mounted 2nd row side window shades that unroll up and only cover 90% maybe, and there are mine which are BMW accessory parts made to snap into the whole window frame.

Also, you said "rear" windows? I have these on all the windows except the front.

So yes, I'm "still" using shades, on all 5 of my rear windows.

The cargo hatch window shade is especially nice that it stays attached to the window when you open it separate from the cargo door.

With 35% tint and these shades, it is virtually impossible to see into the car even in full sun due to the separated double layering.

An added bonus is the 2nd row rear door windows can be open without letting bugs in while parked. I recently added rain awnings to the rear windows so I can leave the window opened 2" venting the car without worrying about rain overnight.

New to me 2010 e61. Stock with "M-sport" package. I am not a big into mods, but have added the Cobb (Map 1 - Aggressive) and might dabble in a couple of other things, we'll see.

Nice M sport kit. Why does your hood look like the front edge is not tightly closed? May want to be sure the closure is adjusted snug.
