Thanks Patrick. Wheels are 18" and a big improvement over the 16's it came with! Noticeable drop in road noise levels as the 16's were equipped with winter tyres.

Here is a short summary of my "Hartge" week-end:
I woke up on Thursday evening at 11:30 PM at left Hamburg at 00:30 on Friday early morning. The autobahn was almost free. Attempt for max speed: 210km/hr. I was disappointed. I already did almost 230km/hr...
I reached Beckingen at 07:00 am and had a small rest in my car, in front of the Hartge's workshop entrance.
Consumption: 8,7l/100 km.
Nice wellcome from the team. It took them 4hrs to do their job. And they did it very well!
Remap of the engine as well as installation of sport springs have been performed.
My car was around 177HP (a little bit more) before and is now 224HP (official documentation said 212HP with 480Nm)!
They, unfortunately, couldn't give me any value regarding the torque. Indeed, for car fitted with automatic gearbox, this measurement seems to be impossible. It's a shame but I guess the 480Nm are really here!
The installation of the sport springs isn't that visible. They are standard for different engine (from 2,5l to 5,0l), so the lowering is directly linked to the engine's weight. 30mm are probably reached with the V8. Anyway, I didn't wanted it that low and how it looks like now perfectly suite my expectations.
I've refilled my tank while living Beckingen and reseted the average fuel flow value. What it true this story of reduced consumption...!? I was a little bit septic.
Then, I continued my way untill Basel in Switzerland where I spent two days. A really beautifull town, a nice wheather and a cosy Hotel... What else...!?
I left Basel on Sunday, at 11:30 AM and reached Hamburg at 06:30 PM. They were a lot of Polizei! But as long as I always try to be respectfull of the speed limits, I've not been flashed. This time...!
The incredible thing was that I didn't see any traffic jam. This was a really good thing... I did refuelled but didn't put the average fuel flow to zero. I wanted to have a value in Hamburg starting from the remap.
Attempt for max speed: 210km/hr... but this time I was happy! Indeed, I could do a lot more, that's for sure...! BTW, I had the feeling that the handling of the car was better (sport springs...).
Finally, the consumption was... 6,7l/100km...!!!

Next step in january: exhaust. I'm still hesitating between Hartge and Eisenmann... I will keep you inform.

Excellent pics, congratulations on the mods and a fantastic trip!
I wish that it was that easy for me to take off on a weekend road trip like that. You are lucky being so centrally located - you can go north, west, east or south, and after half a day of driving, you are somewhere new.

How did they lower the rear -- via the software? The reason I ask, is because the rear wheel alignment looks pretty off in this picture and it looks as though you could get very uneven wear on those rear tyres. Or is it actually straight and just looks slanted in that picture
