Here are the latest pics of mine whilst visiting family in Germany, now on its winter set-up
(OEM 128 19", 245/275 with 15mm spacers on the rear)

I'm still thinking about lowering it, more at the front than at the rear to enhance that raked/slanted stance Just worried about the impact on ride & handling. I was initially getting info about the Eibach Pro kit and more recently about the KW FSD... sounds like it could all get quite expensive... again

Mine are 19s and look much bigger than other 19s and probably even some 20s. If you put 21" 128s on your Touring, you'd have to be careful not to create the "roller-boot" look, i.e. make the car look stupid! I saw 21" 128s on a old 7er (E38 I think it was) and it look ridiculous because they were far to big for that model, but on the E65 the 21s look great. Just a word of warning and maybe they would look great...

Thanks for the compliments
You can see the shape of the landscape from the side of the car in that first pic

It would be quite interesting to have a e60.net winter meet somewhere above the arctic circle. Finland, Sweden and Norway have a lot of possibilities like "ice rink"-driving and skiresorts and stuff like that

That's actually a pretty good idea. Frozen lake driving is awesome!

And great winter pics by the way. Looking forward to getting some winter over here as well instead of the current crap...
