How did you go about obtaining the alcantra headliner? Pretty involved install process?

I'm on OEM shocks with the H&R's, i'll probably just go to coilovers in the spring.
In other news the injectors got so bad I had to replace all 6, cost me $3k, but I'd rather have that big bill than a blown engine. One morning last week was 7 Deg C, (44 for Americans) and the car would barely make it around the block. Mechanic said I had Gen 7 injectors in there originally, so quite old. Now the car idles smooth as butter, I love it.

now its so low I'm thinking I need a winter vehicle.....don't want to plow snow

Acutally he's one of the best in the GTA, if not the best. Parts were $2600, if you haven't noticed the Canadian $ is in a bit of a slide....

CAD makes more sense but that is still a lot to pay for injectors. I am a deal hunter and in contrast shops need to make money, it just caught me off guard.

Enjoy the new injectors.

I trust my independent 100%. I've been going to him since 2009 with my E39 540iT. He even gave the a link off Ebay for cheap injectors, but I don't have 2 weeks to wait for injectors from Germany, +35% currency +13% tax, +6.1% duty to import, its going to be cheaper but not by much. Even ECS + UPS not a great deal. I'm a deal hunter too, but for time. Car fixed in 1 day and back to my life is worth some $$. He even warned me its going to be expensive but I said do it right away.

OEM shocks, but aftermarket shocks don't help either. The front rides on the bump stops, and the rear is way too soft.

yeah, first I thought I'll just buy some alcantra of ebay and just glue it to the headliner, but I looked at it and realized that is definitely job for professionals. Went to the shop, they did it in 4 days.
P.S. it looks kind of weird on the pictures for some reason, but in reality it's absolutely awesome!

And what was the price difference getting them from the dealer locally? Dealers don't change their part prices because of US exchange...
