Looking good 1BFL. What suspension are you running?

Thanks! Front is H&R Sports, rear I programmed through the computer to be 1.5-inches lower. I hate the springs though, it's way too bouncy. I don't mind stiff, I used to daily a caged M3, but there is too much spring for the shock to handle.

It's funny you mention that. My friend with an E90 335i has the same complaint about his H&R springs - I find it odd as they're usually pretty good about matching spring rates to the shock rebound.

Ya, I'm not a fan at all. I'm trying to avoid doing coil overs...but it seems like that might be my only option right now.

Who built the cage for your m3?

He just did Springs, and left the OEM shocks in place?

I'm about to do that on my new X3, and was hoping it works out well...

Finally dropped, with H&R sport springs. Ride is crappy. And rubs a lot from right rear.

I've been looking into getting new bulbs, as I figured the existing ones have started to lose their strength.

Just curious, how come you went with the Philips X-treme (+50% more light claim) vs. Osram Nightbreaker Unlimited bulbs (+70% more light)?

There's a part of me that thinks that since the Osram bulbs are newer, maybe their +70% claim could be valid (bulbs keep improving), plus they're 4350K (vs. 4800K for the X-tremes), so naturally, you'd expect more light because of that from what I understand...

PS Your angel eyes look terrible! Replace them with $100 LED's fast! The light distribution on our cars is actually even better than on the E9x platform, so the two rings will look even more consistent. I did mine, search for my posts on it.

Lotus I did some research on HIDplanet and decided I wanted to stay away from the CBI things, I don't like ricey looking (high temp) headlights, way too many cars like that in my hood. Plus I wanted to match them to the fogs, which I just bought a kit with a M5 bumper. I think the kit came with 6000k and I will not like them. I would prefer all the lights matching, but we'll see.

I got the nightbreakers for the 7, haven't put them in yet. they are 4200K should be close to white.
The Retrofit source where I bought all the stuff only had the Philips in D1S so that was my default pick. They have a little selector tool that picks bulbs for your temp preference.

Yeah I agree they look really yellow now.
What should I be looking at for the angel eyes? And where to shop?

I never even realized that our inner lights are dummies, they are just for the angel eyes.
