This is the latest Modelyear 2008 - new generation - standard 177 hp - 350Nm - with shift-by-wire - 520d.

Only mine has reduced 163hp. Reason : in Belgium there is a new car tax difference of 1250 euro between 163hp and 177hp.

I'll try out the163hp for a while. Maybe later i upgrade to 177hp.

Must say this car drives like a dream though...hope youall have that same experience in your E61's.

Greetz!

Do you have the new anti-whiplash headrests that came with the September production? A picture would be nice.

Any idea if those new headrests can be ordered for use on the pre-LCI sports seats ?

These new ones seem a lot better than those on my pre-LCI seats...

I tried out these headrests today at a BMW dealer ship and they are just what the Standard and Sports seats needed; horizontally adjustable headrests. You can now move them forward and backwards manually, in the same way that you can on the comfort seats electically(- I assume) I will definately just be ordering the Sports seats next time, I personally do not see the value-add of the comfort seats anymore -- which reads I would invest 1500,- of my budget in other options.
