Panoramic roof replacement

Good job getting it done without removing the pano roof!
My 2009 E61 has the same "spare wires" lol not sure what they are supposed to get to.
To further troubleshoot your issue check your fuse panel. When I had a similar problem my fuse panel main connector looked like this:
The right side drain line is located way too close to this fuse panel, and I assume the moisture condensates creating nuances like these.

Thanks for the recommendation. I checked out all the fuse panel connections, everything is clean as a whistle surprisingly. I'm thinking one of the modules in the trunk may be malfunctioning from previous water ingress, causing the trunk cover not to move, and perhaps some of the other faults I am seeing. Does anyone know which module controls the trunk cover? Or for that matter, what the modules are in the trunk? realoem doesn't tell you what they are, just part numbers. In fact, It would be nice if anyone has a link to the location of all the modules in the car, google has failed me so far when looking.

I do remember reading that 2010 models got an updated pano weather seal. I believe this is more for wind noise but im sure it helps sealing out water as well

I think from memory those connectors may be for Sirius Satellite Radio .... see the following photos.
Could be satellite radio. Left pink connector is fibre optic.

I'm going to have to figure out my cargo cover also - would love to have that working.

My 21 P2P/LE /Thunder glass roof just shattered. I can not see any place where a stone hit it or any mark the could start a crack. I noticed it when I was driving off after car being parked a couple hours in the Florida sun. I got about 50 feet the roof just splintered. Well, now waiting four weeks for replacement glass to come part from corporate. I am wondering if someone has had to replace the panorama roof? What were your experiences? Did you use the dealership or specialty service shop? Any thoughts are appreciated. thanks
