You know you can get any tyre from Salesafter - just state your preference! I bought my 172M from them and can highly recommend them!
I will give this a thought as I am sure that the tires would be cheaper from them, and probably easier to get the right sizes.
Btw, it was pictures of your E61 that forced me to realize that I have to have M172 staggered wheels.

Then I surfed to your gallery - when my wife saw the pics, she told me that we have to get those wheels. And I wholeheartedly agreed with her!
I will send another message to Udo and ask about staggered Continental tires for those wheels.
And WRT this forum causing problems... the E61 goes in for the iPod adapter, and mud flaps on the 31st, and in the middle of January, the ACS rear roof spoiler and M5 mirrors will be painted and installed.
This may never end.

On Salesafter they offer M172s for the E61 as "4x front wheel", as opposed to the staggered set-up you get with the E60. If I was buying 19s for a Touring, this is definitely what I would do and not the staggered route. I am currently having my staggered 128 (19") set-up fitted from my E60 on to my new E61 -- its just hassle getting the right spacer set-up etc., and for no value add in looks IMHO. You can then probably do a better deal if you are buying more of exactly the same wheel...

13mm spacers at the back and then I can have those fat rear tires... which will tramline like hell on our crappy Finnish roads. Sounds lovely!
But those fat tires... I like the look, but I understand the trade-off.
That said, point taken on all counts.

She likes the color of your E61 more than ours (M172 wheels match better), but that is Ok... I took the company fuel card out of the sun visor, so she can pay for fuel in 147km if she is driving!
But AFAIK, the modification thing should never end. That said, through all of my BMW cars since 1999, I have been adhering to the same philosophy as ///Marco.it: only OEM BMW stuff.

AFAIK (based on the saved "Home" address in the NAV), my E61 was brought from Ertling, Germany (near Munich), in June of this year. I traded my 2002 520i Touring for it to SKC, in Ylivieska. I am really pleased with the deal that I got - it would have been impossible to find the same "Finnish" car here.
The car came with German, Finnish and Swedish language manuals (I have downloaded the UK English manual as well), so I am covered on all fronts there. Now I just need a larger glove box!
