I will most likely be getting rid of my M135 summer rims (because of my 19s), so don't go ordering a new set yet -- plenty of time until summer anyway!! I'd rather do a good deal to a fellow E60.NET member than have to sell them off cheap on Ebay
The reason that I am having second thoughts about the 135 wheels is that I have been surfing through a bunch of member galleries here, and noticing that many E61s are sporting 19" wheels. I have always thought that 19" + sports package would make for a rough ride. However, the cars just look awesome with 19s...

But you are right, it is a looooong time until summer. Lets see what happens!

Great car - but then again i am biassed - had one myself. And YES - for 19s - adds a bit of sportiness to the "nappy bomber"

Thank you!

If by group buy, you mean you and me, lets do it!

I have finally made a decision on summer wheels and tires (thanks to all of the posts here): M172 staggered and ContiSportContact 3 tires. Wheels from Germany, and tires from somewhere local.

And let me know if there is ever a Finnish "group" get together!

I am not sure if we have enough Finns here for a group buy!

Ricracing and others from Europe have mentioned buying wheels from: www.salesafter.de

I have contacted them about buying wheels WITHOUT tires (don't want RFT), and it looks good. Check out their web site and see if you can get a good deal.

Once we all have the wheels we want, lets meet somewhere!

Well it would still be worth to ask if they are able to make somekind of an offer if we order 3 sets of wheels from them (and combine shipping etc).
I'm definitely going to get OEM wheels for winter...

19?s I haven?t decided yet...BBS

Next spring we def need to meet and get some pics of these e61's

Good point! And perhaps there are some others from Finland here that might be interested. Or even someone from the BMW Club of Finland.

Lets give this some thought and come up with something by say March 2009.

Sounds great man. I?m driving through Germany at the end of March when I?m finally returning to Finland.
Lets start making decisions a bit closer to the summer.
