I really want to see the F07 sales numbers...
The dealers I've been to recently have the same ones they got when they first launched.

With the way gas looks to be trending, and with Caddy, Acura, Saab, Volvo, MB all rolling out new wagons BMW may have to reconsider.

There are a couple problems though.
A: Cost... they need to be with in $1500-1900 of the cost of the sedan.

B: Total lack of advertising? Most people don't even know Wagons are still made. I've even had CCA members ask me how I modified my Sedan E60 to a wagon I used to remember a commercial for the E61 when it first came out that had a guy taking his weimaraner for a back road drive in his wagon only to have the dog not want to get in due to the car being to sporty and finally relenting once it got a crash helmet on, I saw it like 3 times during the F-1 season that year on Speed... never again or on any other channel.

C: I know it cost Money to re certify the power trains, but there are short cuts... use existing power trains that are already certified ( VW does this all the time see R32/TT3.2/TTS/New R/A3 3.2). Give people some choice... M5 wagon? 550 rwd? 530d xi?

Selling it instead of FWD cars and 6000lbs SAV's could go a long way towards getting the fleet certifications for clean air and carbon and fuel mileage certs...FWD BMWs?
another 5000+ lbs SAV

The F11 looks a lot like the E61 to me. The back looks a little more up to date though. Pity they won't bring the F11, but at least that decision should help the value of my E61................

I'm actually more upset that Audi isn't planning on brining the new S4 Avant here.
