The CooperS is a hoot. Had some issues with it (clutch and gearbox had to be changed it had only done 20,000 miles!!) but it's a blast!!

We wouldn't be going new anyway - our A4 isn't worth much anymore, so it would make way for a Mini of about 7k.
The only one I've driven so far was a Mini One and even that was fun.

Hey Kell, 7k will get you a fine MINI. Ours is an 04 plate that we got 12 months ago, big spec, 22,000 miles for ?12,500. I reckon now with 26k on the clock and a year older it's worth 10-11ish? You'll get a good example for 7k. They are a great car.
Good luck and by the way the BM and Mini go very well togther on the driveway!!
