Need help with info for Software and cable for laptop to do diagnostic

My Ride: BMW E61 530d 2005 M sport, individual, shadow line
Hello All,
Would appreciate if you could help which program (software) and where to get it for laptop + cable for e61 2004.8 i want to learn how to perform diagnostic on the car, errors and exetra.
Recently i had earlier topic about battery going flat, and now got Air bag error on the dashboard, going to dealer resetting it would cost 90euros, waste of money, if i can do it myself.

NCS Expert, INPA, EIBAS
The prefered cabel:
BMW INPA / Ediabas K+DCAN USB Interface, D-CAN, CAN

Seems it can be done a lot cheaper than my first link, as Mobmatrix said.
