If it comes back, I found on forums that it could be the passenger sensor mat.

The water pump should not be a biggie for you - after all that you achieved on the car so far.

It looks like a significant number of man-hours went in. I'm thinking it must have helped to have your own shop, the insurance claim etc - to make the numbers work. I don't think this would be an achievable project for most people...
Please say I'm wrong and this is all much simpler than it looks, I'll be picking a Lambo-color soon then

Thanks! I'm really happy with how it turned out. Today we solved all the fault warnings, excluding the fog lights (as they are no longer on the car). More on that later. For the most part, everything just needed to be cleared by our diagnostic tool. This job was particularly tough due to the accident, but otherwise I feel that anyone out there with limited technical knowledge - particularly that which can be obtained on forums like this one - could pull this project off. It would really help just to have a good body or repair shop. It definitely helped being able to do work at our shop. Insurance helped on the accident repairs, but everything else including the paint job I paid for out of pocket. After driving the car finally, I'm thrilled to confirm that the frame wasn't bent. in fact the alignment doesn't even need to be adjusted. That's pretty remarkable considering that the frame rails were literally sheered off on the front of the vehicle. I'll have photos posted tomorrow. Ssoooooooooo appreciative to have my E61 back!!!

Well here she is at our shop. About 98% complete. She's dirty right now, so getting a bath this weekend then back to the paintshop to finish off some flaws in the paint.

Overall I am thrilled with the car. Just now anxious to get some wheels and exhaust!

Once the car is appropriately detailed, I'll post some more pix. In the mean time, here's a photo of the wheels I've picked out. Now I'm just trying to figure out how to stagger the wheel fitment with 20x9.5 in the front and 20x10.5 in the rear. Gotta get the tire diameters the same to ensure I don't mess with the X Drive

What offsets? It seems a little wide for the front. 9.5 is usually the size for the rear. I went with 19 x 8.5 245/40 series all around at a 35mm offset. I wanted the ability to rotate the tires and still have some winter season functionality for those ski trips.

I'm not quite sure yet. I'm actually very torn on this issue. I do know that I want to stagger the fitment. It makes a world of a difference to me.
As the wheels will be custom built, I was thinking to go with whatever ADV1 recommends for the offset.

Yeah I would think adv would give offsets needed for your car..also you want to go look at the xi wheels and suspension thread , theres tons of info over there so you can get the correct tire size, thats where the drive comes in to play.. bmw offers staggered fitments oem so no worries there.

Thanks! I will absolutely check that out.

I'm also looking at 'Vossen Wheels,' which I found last night while perusing the Internet. They come with a lifetime structural warranty, 5 year finish warranty, and are much much more affordable. Of course compared to ADV1's, everything out there seems affordable...

Quick Update:

Today I ordered Vossen CVS3 wheels in 20x10.5 rear and 20x9 up front. ET30 Front, ET42 Rear Offset.

Also ordered Dinan Free-Flow Exhaust.

REALLY excited to keep the progress of the car going!

Missed some updates but really impressed with the progress, I think we really deserve some shots of her when she's cleaned and shiny in full glory!

Haha that's a good point. You do deserve some photos of her all cleaned up and pretty. She just got tint this weekend, so I think it's about time for a detail and some photos. I'll just have to accept that it'll be with the stock wheels on...

I also just finished installing DINAN exhaust. I'll be posting the photos from the install shortly.
