M5 bumper installed:

Wheels back on and ready to go to the body shop for final paint and blending of fenders and hood:

![](http://kristopher.derentz.com/gallery/d/19574-2/m5bumper-21.jpg)
Once I get it back I need to install all the trim (fender liners, brake ducts, grills, PDC, and side markers) Also the OEM M5 Mirrors are in the car and getting painted as well so once those come back I need to install those as well.
I also need t order up some spacer for the front wheels, from the looks of it it looks like the front fenders now match the rears so I think some 15mm spacers will work well.

M3This, you've done an amazing project and it's looking beautiful. I am looking forward to see the final product.
But PLEASE don't leave the "M5" badging on the grills, lest someone say you are a poseur... Otherwise, you might end up in this thread otherwise if the M5 guys get wind of it!
I'm the opposite extreme even, I take all badging off my car, the European way!

Do you have a before and after measurement of the fender to rim face offset? I'm betting with the m5 fenders even on an x car we could have a 9"/10" staggered wheelset without any issues. 10" might be a little close on the rear but would depend on ET more than total available space. my 8.5" have plenty of room behind and what looks like an inch in front available.

Also, why only "blend" the hood. The only reason to do that is if you were just blending to match only a bumper, in this case you ought to go ahead with full hood respray to remove any defects/chips, then clear bra the whole hood and bumper with a hand cut job (hand cut so you don't end up with those 1/8" gaps surrounding every bumper opening.)

In the rear I'm running a 15mm spacer already and form my old measurements we can fit a 10" wheel for sure.

Without the clearcoat, did it occur to you how cool a matte grey finish might be on your whole car?
